D'Addario Helicore Viola Strings

Helicore viola strings are wound with exotic metals (aluminum, titanium, silver, tungsten) which decrease the diameter of the string to provide a quick bow response. The application of damping resins under selected windings gives the Helicore strings a warm, rich sound quite unlike steel strings of the past. Helicore strings offer excellent pitch stability and longevity.

Available in light, medium, and strong gauges and short, medium, and long scale (length). Long scale is designed for violas with a body length of more than 16", medium scale for violas 15-16", and short scale for violas less than 15".
