Helicore strings are wound with exotic metals (aluminum, titanium, silver, tungsten) which decrease the diameter of the string to provide a quick bow response. The application of damping resins under selected windings gives the Helicore strings a warm, rich sound quite unlike steel strings of the past.

Helicore strings offer excellent pitch stability and longevity. Available in light, medium, and strong gauges and short, medium, and long scale (length).
