The E string is chrome steel with a removable ball-end. Available options for the E are platinum-plated, tin-plated and gold-plated. The A string has a synthetic core with aluminum winding. The D and G strings have a synthetic core. The D string is aluminum wound and is also available with silver winding while the G string is silver wound.

All strings are ball end, full-size (4/4) and medium tension.
