Jargar Silver Sound Cello String, G - forte - 4/4 from Jargar.
Jargar steel cello strings are widely used because of their warm, clear sound and affordability. We often recommend mixing a set of Jargar cello strings with a Larsen Strong A string.
They have a flexible steel core and are wound with thin threads of metal - aluminum, copper and different alloys. The G and C strings are also avaliable with a silver winding which makes them sound more like gut strings.
The Jargar Forte Cello strings are identifiable by a Red Ball End and Blue Peg End. The Jargar Medium Cello strings are identifiable by Blue Ball and Peg Ends while the Jargar Dolce Cello strings are identifiable by Green Ball and Peg Ends. The C and D Silver Strings are always yellow in the peg end.
